What are the conditions for renting a work of art?
Renting a work of art is very simple! We invite you to click here to access our form and obtain a quote. Our team will respond to you as quickly as possible with a quote, which will vary depending on the desired rental period and the work(s) you wish to rent. By accepting this quote, we will assist you in the delivery of your rental and throughout the rental period. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us .
How can I buy a piece of art?
To purchase a work, simply select it from our online gallery, follow the ordering steps, and proceed to payment. You will receive a certificate of authenticity proving that the work is original. If you are already renting a work, you have priority to purchase it, and your monthly payments will be deducted from the purchase price of the work.
What are the delivery times?
Delivery times vary depending on your location, but we do our best to ensure your artwork arrives as quickly as possible. When you order, we'll provide you with an accurate delivery estimate, and you'll receive a tracking number once your artwork ships. To track your order, a tracking page is available on our website.
What happens if the artwork is damaged upon delivery?
If your artwork arrives damaged, don't worry. You have 48 hours after delivery to report any issues. Send us an email with a description of the damage and photos. We will replace or repair the artwork.
What payment methods are accepted?
Once you have selected the artwork you wish to purchase, you can pay by card or make a bank transfer. If you wish to pay by card , simply select this option and enter your bank card details. However, if you wish to make your payment by bank transfer , simply select the "bank deposit" payment method and enter your bank account details. Your payment is secure and your data is protected.
Can I pay in installments for the purchase of a work?
ArtCollection does not currently offer this option. The purchase of the artwork must be paid in full during the checkout process.
Do you offer a right of first refusal for the purchase of a rented work?
Yes, if you rent an artwork and wish to purchase it, you have an exclusive right of first refusal. This means you have priority to purchase the artwork before any other potential buyer, for the entire duration of your rental. If a third party is interested in purchasing the artwork, we will notify you and you will have a deadline to exercise your right of purchase.
Who covers the return costs in the event of withdrawal?
Return shipping costs are your responsibility if you decide to exercise your right of withdrawal. It is important to package the artwork well and return it in its original condition to avoid any damage.
What is the procedure if the authenticity of a work is contested?
If you have any doubts about the authenticity of a work, contact us immediately. We will arrange an independent appraisal to verify its authenticity. If the work is found to be inauthentic, you will be refunded and we will arrange for its return. Otherwise, if the work is found to be authentic, you will be responsible for the appraisal fee, as well as the cost of transporting the work for the appraisal.
What should I do if the rented artwork is damaged or stolen during the rental?
In the event of damage or theft, you must notify us promptly. You are responsible for the artwork for the duration of the rental, but if you have insurance, this may cover the cost of repair or replacement.
How do I return the work at the end of the rental?
At the end of your rental contract, we will arrange for the artwork to be collected. We will send you all the necessary instructions to ensure the artwork is properly packaged and ready for return in the best possible condition.
What are the conditions for storing a work of art?
Each artwork comes with a care booklet that provides best practices for its conservation (lighting, temperature, humidity, etc.). It is important to follow these instructions to keep the artwork in good condition throughout the rental or after purchase.
What happens if there is a delay in returning the rented work?
If you are unable to return the artwork within the time limit, please let us know. Late fees may apply if the return takes longer than expected. If you do not return the artwork, we may be required to take legal action.
Do purchased artworks come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes, all our works are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist or their beneficiaries, guaranteeing their originality.
What if I want to terminate my rental contract before the end of the period?
If you wish to terminate your rental agreement before the end of the agreed period, you must notify us in writing and provide notice. Termination fees may apply, and the artwork must be returned in its original condition. Please see our Terms and Conditions for specific details on notice and fees.
Can artwork prices change after I order?
Once the order is placed and confirmed, the price of the artwork is guaranteed and will not change, even if the art market changes. You are therefore protected against any price increases.
How can I track my order?
After your order has been shipped, we will send you a tracking number by email. This will allow you to follow the progress of your artwork in real time and know when it will arrive at your home.
Can I cancel an order after placing it?
Cancellation of an order is possible as long as the artwork has not been shipped.
