Born in 1987 in Tours, Renar obtained a diploma in graphic design from the Brassart school in 2010. He started various advertising and artistic projects, but quickly took up painting.

As his creations progressed, he developed an atypical and personal technique, which would become his signature. Using worn brushes to apply the paint in a more accidental way, dabbing and rubbing on the sheet, as well as a cutter blade to scrape the acrylic and create more details and texture.

His work focuses primarily on light. He seeks to achieve photographic realism by transcribing the emotion he perceives in his models.
